In today's society as millennials or generation Z'ers, as students and busy bees, we are constantly pushed to be go, go, go. If we don't feel like we are doing something, we feel unproductive and useless, a feeling that no one likes to feel. However, pushing yourself to be on the go can backfire, too. You're more likely to burn out quicker. You'll be more tired and impatient. You won't be your best self. Your body can be your greatest indicator of what you, as a person, need. If your eyes are heavy and it's impossible to stay awake, then go to sleep. Studying an extra hour, or watching that final episode won't help you. If your body is sore and tired and begging you to stay in bed, instead of waking up for that 6am spin class, then listen to your body. Lay in bed a bit extra and stretch after you get up; missing one workout won't kill ya. Your body gives you a clear clues about what it needs, so listen to your body and act.
